Christmas in the Park 

 

Christmas in the Park will not take place in 2020 due to concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Schedule of Entertainment & Events 2019

10:30 AM       Festivities begin

​- DJ Burns plays music throughout the day

- The Varsity Opens for Lunch until 2PM

- Ticket Booth opens/ Closes at 7:25 PM

- Silent Auction Booth Opens/ Closes at 6:15 PM

11:00 AM       Phil Hobbs with WNEG is live in the Park until 1 PM 

​

11:30 AM       First Baptist Church 4-year old preschoolers sing

​

4:00 PM         Varsity Opens for Supper / Closes at 7:30 PM

​

5:00 PM         Santa Arrives! Photos begin until 7:30 PM

​

5:00 PM         Chick fil A Santa / Elf and the Heroes in Force arrive

​

5:15 PM         Stephens County Middle School 8th grade chorus sings

​

6:15 PM         Auction Closes

​

6:30 PM         Company Kids from Rhythm Dance Academy Company performs

​

6:45 PM         Auction winners are announced

​

6:50 PM         The Christmas Story told by Roy English

​

7:00 PM         The Lighting of the Christmas Tree Ceremony begins

- Welcome: Roger Sheppard, President of the Park Foundation

- Prayer: Brent White, First United Methodist Church 

- Raffle Drawing and Announcement of winners

- Christmas Carols sing-a-long with SCHS football and cheerleaders

- Introduction of Gordon Telford for tree lighting

- Lighting of the Tree

- Silent Night sing-a-long led by Rose Ann Watson
